False Alarm

So I'm not sure how one who hasn't gotten their period yet would know that she was or wasn't pregnant but I figured the fact that I was nauseous after every meal and smelling gorgonzola cheese everywhere was a pretty good sign. That combined with using expired birth control and the fact that after a four month hiatus Ben is making up for lost time in the bedroom, warranted a pregnancy test. Luckily disaster (uhh, I mean surprise blessing) was averted. I think it's time to visit the doctor for some reliable birth control and throw on a pair of sweats.

  1. I think it's awesome that you now have a forum to talk about your periods in public.

  2. I will now take this forum to discuss my periods in public as well.
I had a scare last month - a full three weeks late. I was a mess and completely refused to take a pregnancy test. Thankfully I am not pregnant. I do not think I could have brought myself to call it a surprise blessing.
    Thank God for periods.

  3. Rebekah,

I just need to take a minute to say thank you very much for giving me permission to read your blogs! I think they are wonderful and hilarious and I look forward to reading them...starting now because Christy just gave me permission tonight! When Christy would show me I would always try and remember your stories to tell Garrett, but they of course never came out as good. Speaking of sweat pants, I'll have to give that a try! Is it to early in my marriage for that comment!!?

  4. I like periods too. How about being thankful that Rebekah can talk about your prowess in the bedroom Ben?

  5. Jenni's right, I almost said that you were as horny as a rabbit. Now that would have been embarrassing. :) Welcome to the blog Rachel! And for the record it's never too early to put on sweat pants.
